Its the little things in life, Mary gets her washing machine.

Well she finally got her washer/drier, I found a discount appliance dealer in Phoenix and we drove 5 hours to get it. It was worth the trip as it saved us about $900 because it had a little dent in the side which was going to be against the wall anyways. It ended up being a platinum color which actually looks better than the white we were originally going to get because it was less than the platinum. It weighed 160 lbs! I had to remove the bedroom door as well as the trim and the closet doors to get it in the closet. It went a lot easier than I anticipated it was going to be, we had 2 sets of stairs and 2 tight turns to make to get it to its final destination. We had to slide it up the stairs into the RV Mary pulled with a rope and I pushed from the bottom, That went well, obstacle 1 down! next we had to get it up the stairs to the bedroom, we used the same technique and squeezed it thru the doorway at the top of the stairs, obstacle 2 down! now it's just slide it into the closet and into place and connect the water and electric and replace the closet doors and bedroom trim and door. All under the close supervision of Spanky of course! I am happy to report no damage or injuries and it is installed and working great, A few adjustments for Mary due to the small size but it is performing terrific. Mary is a HAPPY CAMPER!
